Former Enyimba and Kaduna United goalkeeper, Chinedu Agwu, is dead. Family sources say Chinedu who has been suffering from an undisclosed illness, died a​ ​few hours into the New Year​. He was just 30 years old.

Chinedu is remembered for his great goalkeeping skills while he was at Enyimba and Kaduna United.‎

Popular female rapper, Eva Alordiah got engaged to her Anchor/TV presenter beau live on stage at the Headies. While so many things went wrong at this year’s Headies, Eva’s proposal sure came as a surprise.

The rapper was performing live on stage with Victoria Kimani when her boyfriend Caesar came on stage and popped the question. A shocked Eva said yes! and sealed it with a kiss.

After Olamide stormed off the stage while addressing the Headies organizers, Donjazzy took to the stage as he won his lifetime award and addressed Olamide.
Donjazzy said he was hurt that Olamide felt cheated. He said he had told his boys not to be worried about the Nextrated category. He also said he promised to buy them cars (which comes with the award).

He ended his statement with the words “Egbon olamide, if it is car you want, come and collect it ” He then stormed off the stage with the Mavin crew.

The Headies yesterday was drama filled from Eva Alordiah getting proposed to on stage and now Olamide is angry with the headies.

This came after Reekado Banks won the award for Next rated at the Headies after everyone thought the award was meant for Lil Kesh who is signed to Olamide’s record label ‘YBNL’.

Minutes after Reekado Banks wins, another act under Olamide’s record label, Adekunle Gold won the award for Best Alternative act for his song “Shade”.
Adekunle Gold came on stage with the whole YBNL team and while giving thanks, he thanked Olamide and LilKesh prostrated before Olamide. Then, Olamide took the mic and said, ‘Lyrically Shoki ..Street ti take over. Every fucking single was a hit from lyrically to Shoki, Ko ni dafun iya anybody (It wont be well with anybody’s mother)’ he then slammed the mic and they all stormed off the stage.
