The 60 year old politician’s first son, Jonathan Murray Bruce wedded longtime girlfriend Irene Chilabakis in 2012.

News floating around the cyber sphere have it that Nigeria’s Kokomaster, D’Banj allegedly married his sweetheart, Lineo Kilgrow on Saturday, July 2nd 2016 in a private wedding at a registry in Lagos.
Lineo fondly called Didi is the step sister of MTV Base Africa‘s ‘The Bigger Friday Show’ co-host Samantha Walsh.

SDK reports that the small get-together was an intimate registry wedding with only about 25 people in attendance. D’Banj and Lineo are said to have carried out their traditional wedding in June at the bride’s hometown in Jos.
SDK also reports that the guests were cajoled into thinking they were attending a birthday party for D’Banj’s father only to get to the venue and realize that it was a wedding in which things were kept extremely ‘hush-hush’.
Sources disclose that Lineo and the Emergency singer started dating in 2015 and D’Banj popped the question about four months ago. Lineo has been described as a “very nice girl,very humble,very down to earth and blew away the Kokomaster’s heart” by D’banj’s close friends.

According to him, he is saddened when people regard him as a only a mere dancer. He also emphasised that he is a creative person who does quite a lot.

Not too long ago, Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw, and comedian Akpororo were embroiled in a social media battle as Kate accused the Airtel ambassador of using her name and image to promote his forthcoming show, Akpororo vs Akpororo, without first seeking confirmation from her.
Akpororo seeking to quell the PR havoc that seemed to be brewing, quickly took to social media to issue a public apology to the actress. He wrote, “Good evening ma, before anything else I just want to say I am very sorry ma for the misunderstanding. I am so sorry for not following up after our last conversation about my show when you were out of the country the other day. I will never disrespect you or even take you for granted for any reason, I respect you so much ma, please pardon me ma. Thanks and God bless you ma,” he wrote.

Veteran Nigerian reggae/dancehall singer, Majek Fashek in a recent interview, told Punch Newspapers that former Idols West Africa winner and The Voice Nigeria judge Timi Dakolo stole his legendary hit song, Send Down the Rain and failed to pay him for it.
He went on to refer to the alternative singer as unoriginal comparing him to 2Baba, Wizkid and Olamide. He said;
“I felt bad when I learnt that he worked on my song without my consent. He did not even give me credit. He is a very bad artiste and he took advantage of the circumstance that I was facing during that time. The song is not a normal song; it is a spiritual hit song. Timi Dakolo does not know how I suffered to get that song. I fasted for seven days before I got that song. I partook in three days ‘white’ fasting before the song came to me. Timi Dakolo did not go through that. I did not fight him because I do not have time. Let God judge us.”
“He broke the rules of copyright. He is a thief because in music business, he must take permission before he works on someone’s song. That is why we have COSON. I did not give anyone the right to do anything with my song. I have a management team I work with headed by Omenka Uzoma. Dakolo never bothered to look for me before stealing my song. He has infringed on the laws of copyright and he is not an original artiste. It is only people like Tuface, Wizkid, Olamide that are original.
Timi Dakolo, in a bid to clear his name, took to his Instagram page to inform the world that he did in fact pay Majek’s manager for the rights to do a remake of the classic song adding that he has receipts to back his claims.
He wrote;
MY PEOPLE IT TRULY SADDENS ME TO SEE SUCH… I ALWAYS TRY TO DO THINGS RIGHTLY AND LAWFULLY… I PAID HIS MANAGER TO REMAKE THE SONG,I GOT MY INVOICE…I EVEN MENTIONED TO HIM DURING OUR REHEARSALS AT THE HEADIES.. SO HONESTLY I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS WRITE UP… OGA MAJEK FASHEK..I RESPECT AND LOVE YOU…YOUR VOICE GIVES LIFE TO LYRICS… YOU ARE ONE OF THE BEST MUSICIANS I KNOW..GOD BLESS YOU..
