Nigerian rapper, actor, and songwriter, Falz, Folarin Falana, is set to release his debut cinematic production Falz Experience: The Movie to the delight of his teeming fans.

The movie premieres in the cinemas nationwide on March 2nd, 2018 and it is a platform to showcase the success of Falz’s 2017 end of the year concert, regarded by some as the best music concert in modern Nigerian history. Judging by the movie trailer, the movie promises to deliver an exciting cinematic experience to millions of movie lovers across the country.

According to Falz, “The movie is a follow-up to my last concert which was a massive success. It is also the first ever music concert movie adaptation produced in Nigeria where fans get to once again experience all the fun and excitement from the Falz Experience.”

British-Nigerian actor, John Boyega has revealed that his girlfriend has to be a Christian before he can date her.

John who spoke with The New York Times in a recent interview the 25-year-old star said,

“Yeah, she’s got to be Christian.”

When asked if the future Mrs. Boyega turned up yet John replied, “Nah, still waiting”.

John explained further, saying, “My bank account’s doing all right, but if I have money and a relationship, I’d have, like, 39.99,” he said, delivering the punch line in his South London accent as “fuh-ey noin noiny-noin.”

John also spoke about his religious faith influencing his work. John who owns a production company, UpperRoom, says it has a double meaning: It is a reference to the location of his childhood bedroom (where according to him planned long-term goals, got dumped, became king. and became slave) and intended in a biblical sense, as a place where people come together in unity.

John is meanwhile preparing for the March release of his upcoming Sci- Fi movie Pacific Rim Uprising.

The history-making Nigerian Bobsled Team to the Winter Olympics were treated to a rousing welcome at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja Lagos by fans ans celebrities.

The Nigerian team that went to Pyeonchang, South Korea was led by Bobsled Driver, Seun Adigun comprising Ngozi Onwumere, Akuoma Omeoga and Skeleton racer Simi Adeagbo.

They were treated to a hero’s welcome at the airport by a reception party put together by the Temple Management Company (TMC), the marketing agency of the Bobsled & Skeleton Federation of Nigeria (BSFN).

Among dignitaries that came to receive them were TMC talents including Bisola Aiyeola, Tee-Y Mix and Jeff Akoh.

Nollywood actress /producer Toyin Abraham started the funeral services for her late father with a Wake Keep yesterday March 1, and during the eulogy of her father, Toyin couldn’t hold back her emotions as she began to cry and mourn her father.

Toyin lost her father last year October after he had a brief  illness and in her last words she says she would miss him greatly.
