Popular Ghanaian actor, James Gardiner has opened up on what it felt like kissing Nollywood star, Tonto Dikeh for the first time on set.

According to Gardiner, he struggled to kiss the actress when he had a chance to shoot a movie with her because he had admired Tonto so much and mostly watched her movies on TV. He said when he was to kiss her on set, he became really nervous and had to be given a pep talk by the movie director.

He made the revelation during an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show, saying:

“They told me to kiss Tonto Dikeh and I said how could I kiss her? She might get angry with me. I was so scared to kiss her.

My reluctance was not because I have not kissed a woman before, but it’s one thing to kiss a woman in your own space and another on the screens.

I mean, this is someone I used to watch on the TV and admire so much, so how can I kiss her just like that?

I was so scared that the director had to pull me to the side and talk to me, and she (Tonto Dikeh) was even getting annoyed because I was struggling to put myself together for the act.”

Nigerian celebrity couple, Banky W and Adesua Etomi no doubt have nothing but love for each other and this has been shown many times as there is hardly a time the married couple don’t make headlines.

On several occasions, E.M.E boss, Banky W has been seen in different positions trying to take good photographs of his wife. In a chat with Saturday Beats, the Lagos Party singer said that there was no big deal in taking his wife’s pictures in public despite his fame and fortunes.

He said:

“Why would I feel bad taking pictures of my wife in public? She is my wife and the two of us are one. We are always there for each other and if she needs me to take a picture of her, I would be her photographer. It is the same way around as well; she does the same thing for me. “Marriage is a teamwork and you should be the one that your partner can depend on and it goes both ways. That is the way we operate, there is no big deal in being my wife’s photographer or taking pictures of my wife. What is it in taking pictures of my wife?”

Commenting on a post his wife put on her Instagram page earlier in the week about how her university, University of Wolverhampton, honoured her by putting her picture on the wall, the ecstatic husband said,

“I am very proud of my wife and I am happy for her. I mean she is an amazing and talented woman and one of the most incredible people I have met in life.

I am very happy for her because to be celebrated by a university is not a small feat. I feel she posted it to encourage people and let them know that even if they are struggling about a situation at the moment, it does not mean that it cannot turn out fine or turn around for good. If you are struggling right now, it does not mean that you would not be victorious eventually. When I read the post, I was also very encouraged because to move from a point where you were struggling to actually be celebrated is really a good thing and it shows that there is nothing God cannot do with your life.”

The Jasi singer further told Saturday Beats that he nurses no fears of getting fat and gave some tips he follows to ensure he keeps fit.

“The thing about gaining or losing weight is that it is a combination of diet and exercise. First, you have to work on your diet and make sure that you do not always eat junk food or meals that would make you fat. You also need to work out. Once you are able to balance these two factors, you would be alright,” Mr. Capable said.

Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Nina has reacted to the ongoing drama surrounding her split from the winner of the show, Miracle Ikechukwu who announced that he is no longer in a relationship with her some couple of days back.

Popular South African DJ Black Coffee has reflected on an alleged affair that rocked his marriage with actress Enhle Mbali five years ago.

The award winning DJ spoke about the incident to Metro FM’s DJ Fresh last Friday, saying that when one is young sometimes sudden fame can overwhelm and lead a person to “slip up”.

Black Coffee and his wife made headlines in 2013 when it was reported the star had allegedly cheated on Enhle with a model and aspiring businesswoman.

Enhle claimed at the time that the woman was allegedly trying to extort money from them.

Black Coffee said that people needed to understand that he grew up as a kid that had nothing but a desire to be a star‚ and when he suddenly found fame and attention it became overwhelming.

“A man‚ being a man‚ will always be a man. But now when you add the attention from the opposite sex‚ it can be blinding. It is something you will never be immune to as a person. You can try your best and every now and then it’s going to catch up with you. The love becomes overwhelming as a person. You become overwhelmed with everything‚ the success. Before you get used to everything‚ you slip up.”

Black Coffee said he was grateful for the lessons he learnt and he was now more “woke” than before.

Black Coffee claimed that the media attention the incident got was blown a little out of proportion‚ but said it taught him how human he was.

“With the tabloid stuff‚ it is a reminder of how human one is. Not just being written about but from also the mistakes one makes as a person. It is something that people should understand when you are dealing with someone who is as real as I am.

“My realness doesn’t stop anytime when the cameras are off or the microphones are off. I am real all the time. Being real means I make mistakes. Being real means I get angry. Being real means I get emotional. But everything that has happened has been a wake up call and a lesson.”

At the inaugural In Good Company Experience Summit in Sandton‚ Johannesburg this week Enhle also spoke about the incident and reflected on how it was her “sisters” that attacked her when the cheating allegations surfaced.

“A sister did me wrong. I heard comments such as ‘she thinks she’s perfect‚ even Beyoncé gets cheated on’. My own sisters make their way to my husband’s inbox in the industry and out of the industry. The very same sisters that I fight for‚” she said.

Since the incident Black Coffee has committed to being a better partner and often showers his wife with gifts and loved up messages.
