Teebillz was reported to have attempted committing suicide on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the Ikoyi-Lekki bridge in Lagos.
According to sources,under the laws of the country, anyone caught attempting suicide is liable to face a year in prison.
Section 327 of the Nigerian Criminal Code states that “Any person who attempts to kill himself is guilty of a misdemeanour and liable to imprisonment for 1 year”.
However, from records, no one as ever been convicted with this form of crime.
