Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun is one of Nigeria’s favourite recording artist, songwriter and performer.
The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), has presented the Starboy, Wizkid with an award for writing the Drake ft Wizkid and Kyla song “One Dance”.
Boldly written on the award is “ASCAP congratulates Wizkid, writer of One Dance by Drake ft Wizkid & Kyla”
“#1 on the Hot 100 Chart for 10 weeks”
The singer took to Instagram to share the photo and captioned it:
“This came in last night! Big up my bro @champagnepapi for letting me work on this!! More Drake x Wizkid on the way!!”
