Oscar winner, George Clooney and his Barrister wife, Amal Clooney are now parents.
According to People, the couple welcomed their twins a boy and a girl – Ella and Alexander.
“This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days,” the new dad’s rep says in a statement.
Sources confirmed in February that the director, 56 and international human-rights lawyer, 39,were expecting.
George Timothy Clooney is an American actor, filmmaker, activist and philanthropist. He has received three Golden Globe Awards for his work as an actor and two Academy Awards, one for acting in Syriana and the other for co-producing Argo.
Clooney officially married Amal on September 27, 2014, at Ca’ Farsetti. They were married by Clooney’s friend Walter Veltroni, the former mayor of Rome.
