Bereaved Celine Dion did not attend her brother’s funeral on Monday a day after her husband’s funeral as she was too distraught.
Celine however attended the memorial for her brother, Daniel Dion, on Saturday.
According to Entertainment Tonight, she and her children could not continue two more days of public mourning, instead, Celine paid her final respects to Daniel at his memorial service, which was held at Salon Charles Rajotte in Repentigny. Daniel’s funeral was held at St-Simon-et-Jude parish in Charlemagne, Québec, where the family was raised.
Daniel, who was one of Celine’s 13 siblings, died of cancer on Jan. 16, just two days after Celine’s husband of 21 years also died of cancer.
