The 2017 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), an annual accolade for recognizing outstanding achievement in television and film will be live at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos tomorrow Saturday, March 4th.

76, which grossed a number of 14 nominations is a 2016 Nigerian historical fiction drama film in which the pregnant wife of a young soldier accused of complicity in the abortive coup of 1976 helps him prove his innocence.
2. 93 Days
93 Days, which earned 12 nominations is based on the true story of men and women who risked their lives and made sacrifices to save us all from the consequences of an outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus in Nigeria. It stars A-Lists actors like Bimbo Akintola, Bimbo Manuel, Gideon Okeke and Somkhele Idhalama.
3. Oloibiri
Oloibiri, with 12 nominations is a true life story about the 1st oil well drilled in Nigeria and how the impact has affected a small Nigerian Delta Village( Oloibiri) and the lives of those involved.
4. A Trip To Jamaica
Shot in Nigeria, America and Jamaica, the film which had 5 nominations focuses on Akpos (AY) and his Fiancée Bola (Funke Akindele), who travel across the Atlantic to visit family, they unexpectedly end up on an adventure they could never imagine.
5. The CEO
Five top level staff of a company are selected for a retreat where the new CEO of a global company will be chosen. What starts off as cordial soon goes sour as they attempt to outdo one another to be named The CEO. It stars Wole Ojo, Hilda Dokubo and many others. The CEO had 2 nominations.
