2015 has witnessed a lot of controversial Nigerian celebrities and scandals that kept us glued to their lifestyle. Some really got our attention and were on everybody’s lips for almost the whole year.
We can say controversies in life of a celebrity help them to get more popularity and to create more curiosity in the heart of their fan following.
1. Maheeda
Queen of X as she fondly calls herself was in the news all through the year for raunchy unclad photos which she shares daily.
During the presidential elections, Maheeda claims she won’t step into the country if Buhari should become president. Meanwhile she has been around from time to time.

2. Toyin Aimakhu
The popular Yoruba actress’ life was all displayed on the social media in 2015. Her split from her husband Adeniyi Johnson to her rumoured hook up with Ebony Films boss Seun Egbegbe was all made public. Just when we thought that was all she had in stock, she kicked off lashing and bashing her fans on Instagram.
3. Tonto Dikeh
When it comes to controversy, Tonto Dikeh is a Queen. Earlier in the year Tonto flaunted her new boo, Mr X. showing his body parts on social media saying that one day, her fans will see the full Mr X.
Rumors started springing up after Tonto shared her new man photos online and within a day, Wedding photos of her man, hit the internet and this dragged Tonto on another round of husband snatching scandal. Soon after Tonto got married amidst rumours of pregnancy which of course she denied.
Pregnancy as we all know can’t be hidden forever. Tonto is reportedly out of the country to have her baby.

4. Stella Damasus

Husband snatching scandal is why we have Stella on the list. when she was confronted if she was dating Doris husband, Stella said the rumors are rubbish and Nigerian blogs are trying to tarnish her image, she doesn’t have anything to do with Doris husband and she knows who is behind the report. This was in 2012
Stella Damasus is now married to Daniel Ademimokan, the ex husband of Doris Simeon.
5. Toke Makinwa
We were all shocked when Toke’s husband, Maje Ayida was reported to have impregnated his ex girlfriend, Anita. Toke Makinwa who constantly shows off her man on social media was obviously disappointed as she went silent for a week.
Toke surprised us all recently when she was spotted with Maje at an event in Lagos. Good luck to them.
