It said that the birth of Jesus Christ believed humility, selflessness, love, compassion, and peace.
The statement reads in part: “Our leaders should emulate the leadership style of Jesus Christ, more importantly, the love for fellow human beings as a precondition for peaceful coexistence.
“They should build a strong, united and prosperous Nigeria.”
The group also advised leaders to shun selfishness, adding that such a vice could never yield good things but hardship on the people.
Democrat asked the leaders to be concerned about bringing help to the people they rule to avoid anger, which may be dangerous and difficult to curtail.
It advised leaders to be humble, altruistic, and faithful to God as well as ensure that the nation’s common wealth was distributed for the benefit of all Nierians.
It also asked the Federal government to extend an olive branch to the Indigenous People of Biafra.
